About Our Brand
Founded in 1998, MJ by Mayyan Jaffar is a brand born through a vision- ary Bahraini Jewellery designer. As part of the Asia Jewellers family, Mayyan’s trendsetting collections are inspired from her love of nature, fashion, culture, and vintage 1950’s cinema.
The collections are influenced by life’s simple beauty and nature, which is reflected in each piece of jewellery made. From exquisite stones with vivid colors to the use of raw gold; vividly beautiful is always the theme.
Mayyan Jaffar's MJ collection is a homage to femininity; as unique as the women who wear it. Comfortable, lifestyle pieces, the collections break fashion norms to create statement jewellery with individual personality.

The Process
From a hazy idea to a tangible product, nothing gives us more satisfaction than bringing our jewellery to life. In fact, the creative design process is deeply personal to Mayyan Jaffar. Inspiration for a specific jewellery design or series often comes unexpectedly and from all the beautiful things and places she's seen in her life, with a vision popping into her head at random times, which she does her best to capture on paper. Sometimes it’s a deliberate exercise in coming up with new designs, but more often than not, the ideas come when Mayyan least expect them.
